The HP Photosmart D7263 driver supports Windows XP (Home edition and professional) and Windows Vista. The minimum required processor is an Intel Pentium II (or equivalent) or higher with a 64 MB of RAM. However, HP recommends 128 MB of RAM. At least, a minimum free hard disk space must be 500 MB before attempting to run the installation file. More so, a video display of 800 x 600, 16-bit or higher color depth.
Running this software on windows is also compatible with Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher.

The HP Photosmart D7263 is a print-only device with a unique function designed for printing photos. These physical dimensions are 17.29 x 46.25 x 38.73 cm (HWD) with a weight of 8 Kg. The model belongs to a group of the HP Photosmart D7200 series. These series comprise of;

The primary connectivity is through the Hi-speed USB ports located having both front and backports. This USB ports supported connection to a computer, a notebook computer and selected HP cameras with HP Direct printing. The printer supports PictBridge that allows the user to connect a camera through the port. More so, there is a Bluetooth function using the Bluetooth Wireless Printer Adapter (optional). Finally, the printer has an Ethernet 802.3 port through which one can network it with other printers.

The printer has a print resolution of up to 1200 x 1200 dpi (black) and up to 4800 x 1200 optimized dpi (color). The color resolution requires a 1200 x 1200 input dpi. The maximum print speeds are up to 32 pages per minute (ppm) for black and 31 ppm for color printouts. These speeds only attained after the first page has printed. When printing a photo, the rate is up to 14 seconds for each 4 x 6 inches photo after the first page.
The monthly duty cycle of this printing device is 3000 pages per month. Take note however that the recommended range capacity should be kept way below this for durability.
The input tray holds 100 sheets of plain paper conveniently while the output tray capacity is 50 sheets. The supported media types apart from plain papers are envelopes, transparencies, cards, banners, labels and photo papers. Th photo tray can hold 20 sheets of photo paper or cards.
There is no USB cable in the printer package. The user may have to get one from a trusted store. Please note that the USB cable should not be more than 3 meters long to minimize noise.
